As always, the new year seems to be running away from us already.
With the high pace of everyday life, we know how important it is to take time-out for some self-care. Even if all you can squeeze in is 15 minutes in the morning or evening, here are some ideas that can help to slow you down.
A cup of tea and journaling
Sometimes writing down your thoughts, goals, dreams or plans can calm your mind and inspire you. Find some relaxing tunes on your favourite music app and make the atmosphere around you cosy and relaxing; We recommend a comfortable jogger set from Cleo Harper, a cup of tea and your favourite candle.
Stretching
Most of us feel that high intensity, high paced exercise, or lifting weights is the best way to exercise but allocating time to moving our bodies is also the perfect way to slow down. Try to make stretching part of your exercise routine too – your body will love you for it. Home spa
You don’t need to go to a fancy spa to give your body some extra care. Set time each week to treat yourself. Maybe it’s a Friday night in, or a pamper yourself Sunday before a big week.
